There are many free resources that teacher's in non-English speaking countries would love to have for their classes. For example, simple, informative travel brochures on various countries. Selecting the best brochure would mean choosing brochures that had ample information about a country without excessive pricing information.

DVD Catalogues - I found small, eight-page, A&E and History Channel catalogues in recently purchased DVDs.
Each page highlights seven or eight movies in categories such as "literary classics" or "historical dramas".
I suggest having students preview the brochures to find a movie that they would like to see and explain why. Another idea would be to have students find three dvds that are about events that impacted their country.
